80s -90s Vintage Napier Necklace Sutton Place Collection Book Piece p. 640

Offered for sale is a vintage 1989 Napier Gold-plated Necklace from the Sutton Place Collection Book Piece p. 640. The vintage napier book piece necklace has Curves in an Open Goldtone setting. The necklace is a bold open-link necklace with a central plaque that consists of intertwined openwork curves that attach on each side to openwork curved links. Though the necklace itself is not pictured in Melinda Lewis's book entitled, "The Napier Co. Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry," its companion pieces are (bracelet and earrings), and they are part of what is known as the "Sutton Place" collection. The necklace measures 16" in length, excluding foldover clasp. The central plaque measures 4" in width with a 2 1/2" drop. It is signed on the clasp and the central plaque. It is in very good to excellent condition.
