The box states heat therapy, but there is NO heat-producing element on this brace, nor is it mentioned in the instructions, so maybe it keeps your foot warm???? There is nothing missing. I just thought it was odd it states that.
I have used a smaller one in the past and they do work pretty well. This one is too big for me, so letting it go.
